"Silencio" takes us into the mind of Marta, a
paranoid schizophrenic who is struggling to live a
normal life. Marta is literally haunted by her past,
in the form of herself-10 years younger. She finds
refuge in the home of a friendly old man and thinks
she has finally found her place in the world. Her
“other-self” disagrees.
